Hi there,

I’m Suleman, an architect and designer based in Toronto with a deep love for creating. My work moves between architecture, public art, photography, and woodworking — different mediums, but all connected by the same thread of curiosity and craft.

Photography has always been a quiet passion, passed down from my grandfather who spent over 50 years behind the lens. From him I inherited not just a love of the camera, but a way of seeing — noticing the small details, the play of light, and the fleeting moments that often go unnoticed.

In architecture and public art, that same lens carries through. I’ve been fortunate to work on projects that shape how people experience space — buildings that frame daily life, installations that spark conversation, and community projects that bring people together. Woodworking, in many ways, grounds that practice — a hands-on reminder that ideas can become tangible, that materials have memory, and that craft is a conversation between maker and medium.

This website is a home for all of that — a place to share my work, my ideas, and the pieces of creativity that make up my practice.

Thank you for being here, and for sharing in these moments with me.

Connection
Work comes alive through people. From public art to shared spaces, I aim to create moments that foster dialogue, memory, and belonging.

Observation
Everything starts with noticing — light on stone, rhythm in a street, the grain of wood. Careful observation shapes how I design, photograph, and build.

Presence
To create is to slow down. My work invites reflection and stillness, holding onto the fleeting moments that give places meaning.

Craft
Ideas become real through making. Whether in architecture, art, or woodworking, I value the dialogue between material, process, and hand.
