Physical Models
Typology: Architectural Studies & Presentations
Materials: Basswood, chipboard, plywood, acrylic, 3D-printed components
Description
Physical model-making has been central to our design process—serving as both a tool for exploration and a medium for storytelling. These models range from early study maquettes to highly detailed presentation pieces, each crafted to test ideas of scale, proportion, and spatial quality.
Through techniques that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary fabrication methods—such as laser cutting and 3D printing—we construct models that not only represent buildings but also reveal how light, shadow, and materiality shape the architectural experience.
Whether used to communicate complex urban strategies, test intricate façade systems, or capture the atmosphere of a single interior space, these models remain essential in bridging the gap between digital design and tangible form.
